The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and US Federal Regulations require that F-1 students within the University System of Georgia have health insurance coverage.  The Board of Regents has contracted with United Healthcare Student Resources (UHCSR) to provide a Student Health Plan (SHIP) for students attending colleges and universities within the system.  International students in F-1 visa status attending Georgia Perimeter College are required to have health insurance in accordance with this University System of Georgia policy.
