Atlanta Ministry with International Students (AMIS)

AMIS (pronounced ah-mee') is a French word that means "friends" and symbolizes the mission of this organization of friendship and hospitality.  AMIS serves international students in the metro Atlanta area and wants to make your stay in the United States a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience.  With the support of churches, civic and service organizations, and corporations, AMIS connect students with "host" families and individuals in a number of different ways, providing students with opportunities for meaningful and personal relationships with Atlanta families and individuals.

Since 1978, AMIS has built friendship and hospitality bridges with more than 50,000 students.  Many of these relationships still exist today.

Please visit the AMIS website at http://www.amis-inc.org/ for information about many of the programs offered throughout the year.  Click here for a quick reference to AMIS events and activities.
