F-1 Visa Student Information Meetings
The staff of International Student Admissions
and Advising looks forward to welcoming you at one of the F-1 Visa Student Information Meetings. We will share important information
about your F-1 visa status, you will complete necessary paperwork related to
your I-20, and you will learn about services and programs for International
students attending Georgia Perimeter College. All new out-of-country
and transfer F-1 students must attend one of these mandatory meetings.
Please follow these instructions
carefully:
Go to www.gpc.edu/studentsignup. Select the INTERNATIONAL STUDENT link.
Choose one meeting from the
options listed and complete the sign-up process. Meetings last approximately 2
hours.
Bring the following items to the meeting: passport, I-94 card, and I-20 form.
Arrive on time to the F-1 Visa Student Information Meeting you choose to attend.
Do not hesitate to call International Student Admissions and Advising at (678) 891-3235 if you have any questions.
Note: Failure
to attend an F-1 Visa Student Information Meeting will adversely impact your
F-1 status.
New Student Orientation
Important: New
Student Orientation is a mandatory college-wide orientation that all
new students are required to attend. New Student Orientation sessions will
be offered at all Georgia Perimeter College campuses for new semester
students. You should plan to attend New Student Orientation in addition to the F-1 Visa
Student Information Meeting.

Please
note:
If you have taken or will take the Compass Placement test for
English as a Second Language (ESL), specific orientation sessions for ESL students
are available ONLY in the highlighted sessions on the orientation page.
ESL students should sign up to attend orientation at one of the times
highlighted.
