Spring 2016 Commencement and Perimeter College Convocation

Georgia Perimeter College will commemorate the completion of our students' educational achievements at its Spring 2016 ceremonies in the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome. There are two ceremonies:

Friday, May 6, 2016 is the Perimeter College Convocation ceremony at 4PM. This ceremony is for Perimeter College Graduates/Candidates only and will be the time when students walk across the stage and have their names called.

Saturday, May 7, 2016 is the University-Wide ceremony at 1PM. The celebration will be held at the Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA 30308. This will be the ceremony in which President Mark Becker confers all Associate Degrees and higher level degrees for both Perimeter College and GSU Atlanta degree candidates.  Graduates will hear from the designated Commencement speaker.

For those graduates/candidates who have received any loans through Financial Aid while enrolled in college, please make sure to complete the required exit counseling. Students should either schedule an appointment with a Financial Aid Counselor or complete this requirement online at the StudentLoans.gov website.

Enrollment and Registration Services offices will notify graduates by email when diplomas are officially mailed out. Since we mail diplomas directly to students, it is imperative that we have an accurate mailing address on file in SIS. https://sis.gpc.edu/PROD/twbkwbis.P_GenMenu?name=homepage

Please allow sufficient time (approximately 6-8 weeks) for final evaluations, awarding of degrees, diploma ordering and delivery. For diplomas that are returned as undeliverable to Perimeter College, we will contact the student to come to a campus for pickup.

If you have any questions regarding graduation requirements, please contact your campus Enrollment and Registration Services (ERS) office.
