Personal Counseling Services

Who Should Seek Counseling?

Students should seek counseling services when their normal way of handling problems is no longer working. Personal Counseling Services will help students identify, understand and develop skills to resolve their individual concerns, as well as provide an opportunity for students to learn how to resolve personal problems, learn new skills and look at their situation in a different way.

How can I contact a Personal Counselor?

The Office of Personal Counseling Services supports the overall mission of the college by assisting in the transformation “of the lives of our students to thrive in a global society . . . and to facilitate the achievement of academic, professional and personal goals.” The Counseling Services at Georgia Perimeter College are staff with licensed professionals who are committed to accomplish this goal by creating a student-supported climate and providing the best mental health services available.
